Remembering Peter from the '70's
When I was in Santa Cruz visiting old friends and family last week, I learned about Peter's death from the many articles about his life.
My memories of Peter go back to the '70's when we worked together to start the San Lorenzo Valley Children's Center. He had great energy, enthusiasm and willingness to do whatever was necessary to make this happen. His love for his family extended to the families of all his neighbors and he took on major responsibilities to see that quality, affordable childcare was available in SLV.
I'm so sorry that he and his devoted family and friends had to go through such a long and difficult illness--but the love and affection is palpable and is a wonderful tribute to a unique and multi-talented man.
