Morris's Daughter

I have loved this woman for years but exploded with it while painting this work. It is continually amazing for me to see how I fall in love with my models, as I gaze into their eyes. Betsy is a true wise woman, who has guided me and befriended me and followed me through many an artistic moment. She is a teacher and a dancer and a healer. And a positive role model for the women of her community.
